About
The Arboretum Gallery is a collaborative project from a group of furniture makers looking to promote their own designs and the use of native and local timbers.
The gallery opened in September 2021, with a focus on contemporary furniture. It holds a wide range of practical and decorative pieces all made primarily from British timbers. Wooden objects, especially furniture, is often not placed at the centre of attention in gallery’s and exhibition, so we wanted to create a space solely for the appreciation of the medium.
We work with local tree surgeons and timber suppliers to ensure as much of the timber used is from sustainable sources, and all foreign timbers are FSC certified. Outside of the work on display we can help you with whatever bespoke project you have in mind.
